The independence day has ALWAYS been my favorite holiday...why? well its my half birthday! i love parades, i LOOOVE fireworks, i just get so excited with all the people and all the tradition it makes me giddy! unfortunately this year i had to work from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm which ended up being 7:30 for a few reasons that almost ruined my day. 1st.. customers had no idea we closed early. 2nd... i locked the ONLY keys i have to the office IN the office with 2 of out the other 3 keyholders out of town and one in a movie. i felt AWFUL! Caitlin (the manager at the movie) had to leave her movie to come unlock the door bah! it was horrible and 3rd..Clair was supposed to fly in this weekend and we both thought it was a for sure thing but it ended up falling through...so now i have to wait 2 more weeks until i can see him..sadly.. its already been 10 and i won't die even though i think i might on a occasion.
LUCKILY i have a wonderful family that cheered me up as SOON as i walk through the door and a nephew that kept me entertained all night long! it ended up being an outstanding night with a load of laughs! Here is Zeb learning about the fireworks...this might already be on Leisy's bloggy.
